Tom long time no hear! I am certainly surprised today, I certainly thought the remain side would win. In the short term a bit of market turmoil but it will all straighten out when the world realizes the sky hasn't fallen. Enjoy the day:-)

I think the immigration issue had a lot to do with the vote outcome. Britain is tired of refugees/immigrants flooding in without economic prospects, leading to unrest, radicalization, etc. Trump will tap into that undercurrent in the US.

I don't agree Braveheart immigration wasn't the big factor as far as I'm concerned. It was more about loss of sovereignty, a line being drawn in the sand by people who have resented slowly being taken over by a centralized EU Government and rules for decades.

Political analysts did list sovereignty as the number one reason for dissatisfaction, but had immigration policy at number three,which is still significant.

Regardless, they're coming out and should likely never been in. That cluster of land in Europe is nothing but trouble. Roman Empire, Napolean, WW1, WW2, Hitler, EU, always trouble.

Now we are talking about countries moving out of nato and going to the sco.

That is why the major shifts are happening today,or at least semi explains it.

When Putin talks,in front of crowds of very rich and influential people,well you have to see it to believe it and he is doing it all the time,you have to find it for yourself our media doesn't cover it.
