    Lift platform

I am trying to find a manufacturer or ideas to install a man stand lift,12 volt power to be able to get up onto a Macdon swather. Perhaps someone has built one for his aging father that has difficulty climbing stairs. Any ideas or pictures would be greatly appreciated. Looking for Canadian dealers.

I have to admire people's determination. I think its a hard enough living with out having physical issues.

Our neighbour built one as well. The lift was for a 2388 combine. Worked great. His number is 204-523-8664.

Although not necessary to work, but trying to remain active and determined as long as possible. Did find a manufactuer in Florida called coach lift, but non in Canada,

Thanks to Prairie'sEdge and Braveheart for leading me to Grunthal Welding in Grunthal, Manitoba. Spoke to Dan, a fine guy I might add, said that they custom built a few lifts using a gear and motor drve from a massey combine with a # 60 roller chain. I am guessing it was a reverser for the pick up auger. We will likely build one similar. Someone should start building these units where price would not be an issue.
