22 percent on 50 percent overpriced equipment isn't a deal.

Too many guys think they are getting a deal. They should have never been given the family cheque book.

Need more motivated sellers than motivated buyers. But the manufacturers are smart enough to choke off production and supply and not give up any perceived price gains!!!

Wonder why they don't price JD, Case etc against Belarus like grain markets do our high quality WHT.

The LOWEST grain price is the LAW, where ever on earth that may be, IE competitive pricing, HATE that term, just means they all agreed to charge X amount!

Bought a air seeder and a sprayer so far... get in line the $$$iron will be all gone! Oh ya Fifth wheel camper
            NOT farm IRON, me time!

I don't run on generation money. But if I did I certainly wouldn't waste it.

Million dollar equipment worth half in 3 years.

Generation money wasn't built being stupid.

Etc etc. Wasn't meant to be offensive....it's just fact.

The older generation saved money..But no where near the amount that is required to buy this new stuff..Old money all gone..Young, large farms mostly living on borrowed dollars, or investors dollars..
One comment was that 1 large farmer doesn't own the shorts he is wearing...How many times can 1 guy go broke?

"Old money" = paid for land... not cash.

Bucket is there anything in ag you don't complain about?

Government... railways... crop insurance. .. input companies... weather... young farmers... old farmers... old money... credit...

I don't get how people can go through life bitching about absolutely everything and everyone.

Why does it matter what the neighbour is doing. Run your own business to the best of your ability. The neighbour is doing exactly the same.

Abilities and means aren't necessarily equal between operations and that's fine too.

Not saying we don't have problems in our industry but sheesh

Had a long answer but the short answer is NO.

                      But things should be questioned.

                      My bitching is more questioning.
It shouldn't come off that way.

Maybe I will try a different approach.

That what I'm trying to get at. Equipment seed fert chem is all over priced. One huge wreck like 2002 and its game over for some. This is getting like the city housing problems.
Big problem is very few buying so new loans are down.
                        It's all smoke and mirrors.

Wadena has dozens of drills and airseeders that NEVER planted one seed...only going to get cheaper. Rust away... curious to see if ALL that green/red iron harvests this year.
Oh ya Wheatbelt says BG production sold out for 2017!
