You were indeed very close to picking the high of canola. Way to go.

Now I am curious as to what you did in terms of marketing.

When the time came, you apparently thought it was too early to sell anything, even chastising those that thought it was time to sell (including me).

Did you wait until April (as you suggested you were going to)?

Just wondering. It's great to have the vision, but it's worthless unless you pull the trigger.

          Sold brown and oriental mustard.
          Forward priced brown.
          Sold canary.
          Durum is in the pool.
          Did not sell oats.
Did not forward price flax or canola.

Wilagro Maybe they are millionares .This maybe
because they have faith in themselves and their
decisions and management . They DO NOT depend
on Pools , boards or subsidies to make them their
wealth. It's called research , networking , marketing.
Basically work. Not wishing or hoping the CWB does
                the right thing.

What is the difference, if they've spent a million, or got a million? They are still millionaires or pretenders1 Guess most of the marketeers on this site want to now be billionaires. The greed here is incredible, gimmie, gimmie, mine, mine, mine, I'm better than you am ha, ha, ha. Most like school kids, not business dudes..

                    Burbert

So business dudes let other people/organizations make management decisions for them (or maybe just marketing) versus making decisions and taking responsibility actions? Making business decisions based on personal goals and financial needs is a bad thing and makes a person greedy?

Its hard to be tolerant of the intolerant. When the intolerant is so single minded he can`t tolerate open minded people, he is a discrimating socialist. The badest of all intolerable people because tolerance doesn`t enter their intolerant narrow eyed (could look through a key hole with both eyes at the same) head.

Burbert get the drift. You have legislation to protect what you want. How about legislation to give me what I want (an open market for open minded people).

Always reminds me of a scene from the movie oceans twelve.

The gangnsters are all standing around talking about how little money they had left since the last job, then one of them pipes up and says he has more.

Everyone stops and has a Blank stare.

And he says"what, you think the stock market is beyond everyones comprehension?"

I remeber it because at the time i was telling people oil was going way past 40 dollars a barrel.

                        Blank stares.

                        20 dollar wheat.

                        Blank stares.

I havent posted what i really think in over a year.

                        Why?

                        Blank stares.
