Anyone seeing a letter( brochure) from friends of CWB seeking donations to supposely save your CWB.Contains a page of Ritz bashing and also indicates the CWB makes you $10.00 per acre. Since I have never seen this $10.00 per acre and the CWB already uses lots of my dollars to support their cause, I will be declining to take up their offer.

Craig,
I have heard that it was put in mail boxes across southern AB. Got a copy of it, and yes quite the laugh. FCWB is broke yet still getting some funding to try to raise cash by a four page flyer.
Highlights include:
- reiterating the 2006 director election tampering
- getting rid of directors and appointing anti CWB directors
- firing of Measner
- introduction of Bill C46 which is an atack on durum and wheat not just barley
- lists who supports these undemocratic and illegal actions = WBGA, ABC, MCC, WGEA, BC, AB, SK etc.
- crazy talk from Ritz
then we get in to the plea for support:
- testimonial from Terry Boehm on how the he values the CWB for his wheat, barley, canola and flax production on his farm near Colonsay
- "the future of the CWB is in our hands, we must keep it out of the grain companies, governments and commodity groups that want to distroy our marketing agency"
Finally a full page on what to do,
- Make a donation - even goes to suggest there that the CWB puts $10 per acre back into the pockets of producers, so by donating at least that amount per acre from your farm will help the FCWB
- write letters
- support strong CWB director candidates this fall
- call your MP
ending with
"Ensure a democratic, farmer controled CWB"
ok enough, think we should send them a bill for what each of our farms have lost from the CWB interference. Plug there mail box with invoices. Sent copies to our MP's and Ritz and tell the government to get on with it.
just my rant of the day, at least I didn't get 30 cm's of snow yesterday (which was close, just west of me) but enough rain to keep me off the land for 5-7 days though.

Had a similar plea for money here to help set up a "new" single desk.
It raised a paltry amount about 5% of what they were hoping for, and when they paid the money back it was about 90 cents in the dollar the other amount was taken up in administration costs for something they didnt set up
