Is there any way for a person to find out the price the wheat board charges our domestic millers for milling wheat. I am getting reports from many of my customers that the mills are holding back deliveries of flour. The prices they are being quoted is completely out of relation to the costs associated to producing and delivering the flour. I understand making a profit but this is ridiculous and ultimatly being blamed on us as producers. Can anyone help?

I don't think is a domestic miller price is published (western producer includes domestic malt barley and durum but not wheat) but call the CWB (1 800 ASK 4CWB). If they won't give you that, ask for the producer direct sales price. There should be a direct relationship between this price and the price millers pay.
