    CANOLA GROWERS ALERT!

    Interesting letter in the mail.

Someone stole something and massive amounts of financial info was stolen.

32,000 producers financial info and personal info has been compromised.

    It happened on march 30.

Thank you assholes for being a month late on telling us.

Some of you must read this site.

Dont give us the bullshit line of "well we dont know what they were after" and "we didnt want to issue an alert because we might tip of the perp on what they had".

Which is exactly what you just said to us on phone.

    PIN HEADS.

    A little logic says:

scenario 1- the perp knows what their stealing,so giving them a months headstart is STUPID.

scenario 2-the perp doesnt know what they stole so,you dont alert and the whole mess magically disappears so you dont have to face up to some tough questions.

And the head guys dont magically loose their jobs.

You don't suppose, cp, that the Canola Growers reaction was based on advice from the investigating police? I understand that is sometimes the advice given.

Was it in any material that growers get from their associations/subscriber letters, cp?

I'm sure it was. But it was a theft. It will be common knowledge among the "elite", I'll hanker a guess.

"Idiot farmers" will not be among those included in being informed first, I'll guess.

Wanna bet farmers were the last to know?

The risk problem will be that the thieves will know where large storages of canola are situated, and that farmer becomes susceptible to theft.

Not notifying the farmer exposes him to a high risk, and leaves him high and dry.

Somebody has to be fired for that.

Tom, I was asing if anyone stuck theri neck out and told the farmers what the Canaola Association kept secret.

Surely someone would fill in the farmer?

I'm trying to remember a bigger finacial breach, but cant.

If your bank account gets wiped out guess what-your on the hook.

I could almost forgive them, but its now a month latter.

I've already had a credit card breach this month and one about a year ago but the mother company dealt with it instantly and i was not liable.

This time though a wealth of info has been stolen.

Maybe when some of you hace a 5 thousand dollar charge on your credit card from france someday you'll "get it".

Oh yeh-changing bank accounts and sin numbers in todays world is "real fun".

I thought I was the only guy pissed about this.
I sounds like somebody stole a laptop with all our info on it?
If this was a bank it would be headline news. Wait till the Western Seducer comes out tomorrow, page 37 if a mention at all is my prediction.

Who is in charge of the the information/Advance Department?

                    Demand an answer.

Demand to see the protocol for safekeepiong information. Demand a written explanation and record of events as they happened.

Accountability just has to start sometime.

Did anyone, and I mean anyone, get a call or a newsletter, informing farmers about this breach?

Did anyone who got a letter also recieve an apology? Or was it merely informing you that the information wart on your financial ass has turned malignant?
