I think this was the only area in western Canada that did not recieve any quantity of moisture. I hope the rest of the summer goes good for all those that recieved rain, this will be a make or break year. From april 1st we are at 40%, from may 1st we are at nearly 0%. That heavy snow at the end of april has accounted for 99% of our spring moisture - earily simular to the spring 2000. Now comes the delema - too spray or not too spray from here on in? Sad thing is we pretty much have to, this crop is barely hanging on and elimination of weeds way be the only thing that will keep any yeild at all. Getting very nervous!
Usually when one misses a major wet disturbance the next big one is two to three weeks away - praying for thunderstorms to start moving in from the west over the next five days now.

Talk to your Bayer rep about getting a pass code looks like one of the best weather networks out there , simply put there are more stations.
I know the CWB is involved and I don't want to know how much this is costing the pool but there is some very good local data graphed and charted.
I think Bayer is doing some kind of fusarium watch based on weather conditions collected from these sites.

Thunder storms are currently popping up along the Alta/sask boarder and moving east. Keeping fingers and toes crossed that it's our turn over the next few days.
