Had enough rain, need heat to bring crops along . Next concern will be an early frost, would make for a perfect storm. This looks like one of the most unusual years I have ever seen. Forecasts call for heat for the rest of the summer, who knows?

Still no measureable rain in the north west, willing to pay for rain dancers!

received 1.70" spread out over a full day, very nice rain even though it was cold. in need of heat now big time, just don't turn on the blast heat to full, at least not till Aug. nice and gradual, that's the way!

Not scarey-unusual, agstar,... the lilacs didn't get tricked, the tom cat is not confused, and the frogs are still having choir-practice every night.

                More like screaming.

Here in the Red River Valley we've got too much rain now. I've had around 3 1/2 inches within the last week. If we don't get lots of sun and warm temps real soon, the crops are going to suffer. The heavy clay soil we have here is absolutely saturated.

Just over 4 inches in the gauge since last Friday. Sure nice to see.

NOT ONE BIT. We did not need rain. I am happy those of you who needed it are happy, but dang, the water is running again, eroding my newly landscaped erosion channels from the last two years. This with only an inch of rain. at least they got seeded this year. I hope we get some serious heat soon. we are very late here. Reminds me of 2004.

Over 5 inches here in SW Sask west of Assiniboia since Saturday. Crops all up and running but need some sunshine and heat now. Patchy germination on oilseeds. Peas, lentils, chickpeas, durum looking good.

Hope your rain gauge works better than your new John Deere gauges!
