Now we know why Strahl left and Ritz took over. The Government should be on the hook for Measner's severance and the associated costs. If this judgement stands, it pretty much discredits any plebiscite that was held. What a bunch of bunglers in the con government.

I measured a disc and from the ground up, it was as high as from ground level to the top of my thigh, and I am tall.

Western Canadian Wheat Growers had a marvellous barb-b-que, good food, well attended, Blair Rutter of the WCWGA was in fine hospitible form.

The Minister of Agriculture in Saskatchewan attended. I spoke with him, and spoke with Lyle Stewart as well. Both know agriculture well.

The Ag Min is a no nonsense guy for those who don't know him. You know where you stand with him. Good clear message to the WCWGA Good speaker. Not one to quaver during lightening and thunder.


WCWGA's Cherilynnn Jolly gave a very good overhead presentation. She is also very direct. No nonsense. Knows where's she's headed.

I would string up that Government lawyer by the ankles,if I could hunt him down, but I imagine he's like my old dog when I scolded him for digging in the gardens, ..he headed for the bush and stayed there.

Oh Parsley,
You are so full of bile for the the CWB. I hope its not affecting your health? Must be tough for a Con supporter like you to support a get tough on crime party and to see them break the law when ever it suits their purpose. Their list of illegal and just plain dumb activities are getting quite long for a party that ran on an integrity and accountability platform. Cadman, Bernier , violations of the Election Canada rules with in and out funding scheme, firing Linda Keen, protecting and defending Mulroney, NAFTA leak and of course the CWB fiasco. With a track record like that even Dion could be our next Prime Minister. Go figure!

I fully admit that I am stinging, and that I am filled with disappointment at the decision, and at the way the case was handled.

I just am.

To be less would not be parsley.

That being said, the sun came up, happier than hell.

I take my hat off to the FARMER Board supporters who feel just as passionate about maintaining the monopoly as I do about getting rid of the monopoly.

They have worked hard for their beliefs, and I have to say I continue to deeply admire the work ethic of the farm community.

You and your thinkers did a better job chuckchuck.

Maybe I'll go shooting gophers. And yes, I have a damn permit.

Had breakfast with Ian and the cwb gang yesterday.

Then could have gone to the wheat growers supper but the buddies wanted to go to moxies,were after drinking and eating heavily for three hours the bill was picked up by an ag chem rep that we happened to meet there.And there were four of us!
