Likely too heavy a topic for summer when all should be relaxing/enjoying the lake but looking for people's thoughts about mandatory price reporting so that daily/weekly transacted crop prices are available for all to see.
From a selfish/government person side, would be nice to have generally available transacted price information (i.e. real prices) versus the hit and many miss processes around price surveys.
Mandatory price reporting occurs in the US for cattle. USDA also has many process that go into their posted county prices for their loan program.
