Increase of Initial payment

A $22 increase was announced. According to the May PRO that would leave another $20.90 to come. Do you think think they will be lowering the PRO again this month? If not why wouldn't they have increased the payment more. It is almost the end of the crop year.

Went back over history to see how adjusted initial payments in July compare to finals and found there usually is a $15 to $20 hold back or about 90 % of the PRO. Given based on the May PRO, don't think anything can be said about the magnitude/direction of the upcoming 2007/08 PRO.

Here is some history for 1 CWRS 13.5;

2007/08 - 5 adjustment payments to date and Initial $350 versus PRO $373.

2006/07- 5 adjustment payments to July and Initial $203 versus final $213.

2005/06 - 2 adjustment payments to July and Initial $180 versus PRO $195.

2004/05 - 2 adjustment payments to July and Initial $186 versus PRO $205.

2003/04 - 3 adjustment payments to July and Initial $191 versus PRO $211.
