CHeck for grasshoppers...

I was just North of Strome AB... and literally millions of 1/4 inch long clear wing hopper nymphs... they are in the grass by the rural roads and pastures... the black fields that crops are not up on still had many small hoppers maybe 10 per square foot... along the road in the short grass there were hundreds per square foot, the ground was moving...

Heard of a farmer at Provost that lost over a section of wheat in a day...

Tom, neighbors of ours north of Cereal were spraying for grasshoppers last week. The weekend rain and following cool weather has stopped those little chompers in their tracks. Of course, there's no new hatches either.
