    Wednesday With White

    Ian White:

As soon as the Board of Directors passes a motion that changes the present CWB policy or else establishes brand new policy, have it posted on the CWB website so that the people who pay get to read it right away.

    Ian White:

On the CWB's website, there is one page named:

    Forms/Terms and Conditions

There are all kinds of forms in PDF's available.

Why are the following forms absent:

    1. Export Manufactured feed Agreement Form

    2. CWB Export License

Why is it that the farmers who pay for all, are excluded from viewing what they pay for?

There is a PDF available titled CWB Organic Marketing Program Farmer Registry.

It's in a PDF. No signature is required.

Why in the world are farmers instructed to FAX IT IN?

Do you suppose the CWB Organic Department might allow an online form because it might be convenient for farmers, instead printing the form, filling it out by hand, and faxing?

      Sigh.

A Wheat Board woman employee...Donna Youngdahl, referred to organic farmers as german shepherd dogs in the Western Producer, and appears to be the CWB's contact person on the webage that is coming out of the dollar-closet spending another good dab of farmers' pooling money:

        UNQUOTE

The CWB can now run every individual organic farmer out of business, by stealing established buyers.

Surely the CWB wouldn't allow CWB staff to market grain for their own private family members, would they?

Tell me it aint true, Ian White.

          Ian White:

Is the Organic Sector Market Development Initiative (OSMDI) taking cash out of the Conventional farmers' pooling accounts to provide funding for research and market development projects designed to strengthen Western Canada’s organic grain industry?

If they are, the Directors approved it and are pitting groups of farmers against each other.

Were there any Directors who voted against stealing from one group of farmers to benefit another?

Has the Board of Directors passed any motions in the last two months concerning the Code of Conduct?

Were any motions passed that would allow encumbent Directors to access pooling account funds to run their electioneering, or to attend Liberal fundraisers?

              Dear President White,

Basis levels continue at $1.50/bu above futures in spring and Hard Winter wheat... historic highs... yet the CWB is $40/t below normal basis levels.

              WHY?

                mr. white

The cwb asking price for a #1 cwrs 13.5 and #1 cwrs 10.5 and everything in between are the same. If the customer has no price discrimination for protein - why do western canadian farmers? Where does the money go?

Current asking price is 361.30/9.81 bu in store thunder bay.

                  Dear Mr. White,

Have you ever read as much carping and harping as has been displayed on this forum lately?

Do you think that it is possible to satisfy these carpers...ever?

While some who post here want improvement in the way that the CWB operates, a good many want its total disembowelment or dissolution and like to slowly chip away at its foundation until it cracks and crumbles.

Are these "Wednesday With White" sessions helpful or are they vexations to be disregarded at your pleasure?

Are you listening Mr. White...or have you decided to "pass" on this "Dear Abee" problem solving approach?

That was a very insightful posting Wilagro.

Good job at bringing forward issues related to the marketing of the prairie grain crops under the control of Mr. White's corporation.

                    Keep up the good work.

We would be lost without farmers like yourself.
