Does anyone know how many producer cars of grain travel to British Columbia in a year?
As of August 1, 2008, the BC government's carbon tax will be adding $7.80 (CN) or $11.25 (CP) per car to the cost of producer cars entering BC.
I will assume, as with any other costs on grain in Canada, that this tax will have to be paid by grain producers in the designated area.
Will this tax be tax deductible?
