    OFFS

For the farmers who participate in the OFFS program that supplies Warburton, will it become a contract requirement in 09-10 or was it a requirement this year?

(The Canada Grains Council, was it in in 2005? set up the OFFS on-farm food safety program as a pilot project)

    The Officially Farmers Fault system.
Farmers are on hook for premium market and benefits are none.
    CWB at its finest.

According to a lontimeago Country Guide, in a page 40 article titled, "Warburton raises The Food Safety Bar," writer Lyndsey Smith states:

"wheat growers under contract to supply the company were receptive to the program."

Obviously they knew they wouldn't lose money.

      1. Did the CWBV advertise, or post on their website the opportunity for all DA farmers the chance to grow for Warburtons? How did a young farmer find out about it?

      2. Does OFFC participation remain a requirement in 2008 in order to sell to Warburton?

      3. Who pays for the OFFC certifying costs in 2008 if it is still a requirement? The Canada Grian Council, the farmer or the CWB?

The CWB claims that Warburton-contracted farmers pocket good profits from a high priced market.

Who are the farmers? How amny? Is there a waiting list? And what is the FORMULA for the BUYBACK costs that the CWB deducts from Warburton-contracted exporters? Is it the same formula as some of you conventional farmers who tried to export this past year?
