Just doing a little checking on Winter Wheat prices. Fixed price on friday was 6.80 Board price was intial 3.74 plus I would have to pay .50 cents a bushel to get 100% of the pro. You can get some US prices in US dollars at http://sourisrivercooperative.com/ they are paying cash in the pit on friday 8.05 a bushel. Why are we such a stupid bunch of pawns and need to have this f------g lazy bunch of idiots doing our marketing. Plus why do some people have blinders on and vote for the CWB. The Friends Of The CWB are funded by unionized workers of the CWB and are just trying to save their high paying jobs. The sooner this organization is gone the better for all.

The price in Bottineau for winter wheat is $8.22 a bushel
It's $7.80 in Berthold and they even have a new crop '09 bid there for $8.00
Cando is offering $7.90
So even taking the worst US bid I can find I'm out a buck a bushel.
I should say 'we' are out a buck a bushel every single one of us.

Can we just bribe the god damned single desk directors to let us ship south?
Really, Flaman sold his soul to the single desk after he was elected, why cant we buy it back?
$1/bushel is big bucks. Offer him $10/tonne or $400/super-B in small unmarked bills to give you an export permit.
Hell, I think this has merit, I will ask the 800 number about it tomorrow when the CWB opens.
If its about money how much would it take?
SCREW THE CWB

We have friends just south of Whitefish MT. They are hauling their winter wheat in right off the combine 600 bushels=$6000.00 US. That is $10/bushel, I wouldnt have believed it but I was there along in that tandem grain truck and held the cheque in my hands. We just cant take this fleecing any longer! The CWB is not there to benifit you they are there to benifit themselves they could care less about you, you small farmer.

grainline.com for north dakota has durum at 12 bucks usfunds. Boy are we lucky to be getting 5 cdn and maybe sometime in dec 09 9 bucks. Those dumb american farmers that signed up 14 dollar durum in feb 08. Yep larry hill and his other inbred brother stewie sure have the best interests of western canadian farmers at heart.
My favorite word - incompetent.
The cwb has to go.

Burbot - numbers do not lie, neither does cold hard cash for 100% of what you deliver. Lets see one borg supporter dispute the numbers above, this should be good.

You know, the Board is costing us more than that buck a bushel right now. Those US prices are basically off the combine spot prices. You deliver now and you get paid now. That's not the case with the fixed price contract.
To be fair we should be comparing the US winterwheat spot price with our non board feed prices, because if we need cash or room now that is our only option.
So while the yanks can get pretty much $8 we are stuck with more like $6 thanks to the CWB Berlin Wall around Western Canada.
The Board is costing us $2 a bushel not just $1.

Burbert you must farm under a rock with a horse and binder if you cannot see that the CWB is screwing us again this year. What do you farm 10 acres. If elections were held proper, we should get 1 vote for every tonne produced. This would get rid of a bunch of back seat CWB supporters.

The truth, the truth, I don't know if you can stand the truth. But here it is anyway. There are a whole lot of little guys/gals standing in the way of a few land barons, that want to own/control all the farms in Canada. Us small farmers are doing it, by supporting the Canadian Wheat Board while making a living without, owing it all to the company store!
