    Boarding Beijing

In 2005, CWB and COFCO announced a new technical centre in Beijing.

The CWB provided capital funding of $1 million to establish the centre.

The operating costs were supposed to be shared between the CWB and COFCO.

The CWB slid money out of the CWB's special account, which is a stash of uncashed farmers' cheques which have remained uncashed for six years or more.

Has the project realized more business with more dollars in FARMERS' pockets? How about your pockets?

Why are a few Western farmers funding a country with billions of people?

Chinese authorities sentenced two women in their 70s to a year's "re-education through labour" after they applied to protest during the Olympic games.

Beijing fficials said they had not approved a single permit for a demonstration, despite designating three parks as protest zones.

    Sound familiar?

Is the the CWB's Beijing office now propgandizing the Designated Area's jailing methodology by any chance?

Is the Board's Winnipeg office experienced enough at insisting Western farmers be jailed for not having export permits, to teach a class in jailing in Mandarin?

Has Chairman Mao tzehill been training Beijingers?

And what has happened to Cdn wheat sales to China since 2005?

      2.3 million tonnes in 2004/05
      160,000 tonnes in 2005/06
      44,000 tonnes in 2006/07
      Zero tonnes in 2007/08

How's that for return on investment?

Maybe Chretien and his Power corp extended family(Rae, Mo Strong and all) are using the CWB investment for their own personal gain, a farmer paid technical centre, more like farmer paid liberal grease job......bring it on Harper, expose thenm warts and all and free us and our money!!!!!

Let's see how would the board spin these numbers...

Probably along the lines of it's not that they're buying less grain, it's that they are buying more high quality grain.
