Remember to check them bins, I just moved 18,000 bushels into bin rings and a warm lump came down on a pea bin that was aerated.
Not quite done yet but my canola also did better than expected. About 18,000 bushels better.

Congrats snappy on being done. Canola might be large since the yields in normal canola areas are coming in strong. So far on our farm what ever you grew last few years add 50% so if 100 oats getting 150 oats etc. I was wrong on yields in Sask. But if south gets 30 and we get 60 its 45 bushel and yes that is a bumper. Sorry for the guys who didn't get a crop or got hailed out. Whats pissing me lately is elevators phoning with new comment since we can store unlimited amount of grain grown now and delivering for space at bargin basement prices is out of the equation. "You know most farmers would have been happy with 350 an acre last year. So why not sell these are high prices compared to normal. Yea 5.45 was a normal in their minds.
Any way again good luck harvesting boys or finishing up. we have 23 quarters to go still chugging our other 9660 should be back this week then we can go with the three.

I would avoid advances. To get one you have to tell someone your production numbers. It might be interest free but then nobody is trying to figure how to buy your crop - they go to the buffoons at the ccga/cwb at look to see how much product is there and how little they can pay.

I think farmers should keep the buyers guessing this year. The best thing to do is not sign a contract with the cwb until after oct 14. Lets see how this plays out. We may have US pricing on oct 15.
