Seed costs. Math don't add up.

Viagra phoned yesterday for me to hurry in and buy next years Canola see. Wow 7.89 for best new liberty seed Monsanto same. Here is funny one If you book that's the price, but if you pay or put it on your account its 5% off .39 cents. Lets see 9.5% for Nov DEC Jan Feb mar April wait its the same price .39 cents. If I book and cancel because of low prices their out and I am not forced to take the product. Viagra Viagra. 4 combines rolling today and three semis down to 6 fields and canola is almost dry last night after rain event on Tuesday. Last year on liberty at least I got a Riders Jersey for early order.

One other note all the Growers in our area that seeded Liberty VS Monsanto (dekalb etc.) its a 10 to 15 bushel difference on every farm.

Pioneer varities 45H28, 45S51 and 45H73 or - 1 bus against 8440 and 5440. The new sclerotina resistant 45S51 did very very well.
8440 and cargils new Invigour health did very well. Victory Canola and Nexera - some dekalb are the 10-15 bus behind here.
Liberty is no longer king here, now it is a choice on system and balance chem rotaion.

Saskfarmer, did you grow any round-up varieties and what was the comparison in yield to liberty if you did and don't mind me asking?

Saskfarmer, maybe you should talk to your viterra rep again, because that's not their program. the 5% is an early book on Invigor, then if you prepay you get another 5%, and the RR are different discounts.

I grew the V1035 with good success this year. Looked like crap before harvest compared to the invigors and told the wife to punch me if I grew it again. So I booked the invigor health again this year and sucked up the high price for the seed because canola is still the crop that pays the bills, lucky the wife doesn't want to throw punches LOL , their later months and into sept. delivery are attractive and so far my banker still accepts a bunch of scribbles on a piece of paper for a budget. Cargill wants my SWSW wheat for malt but they have to come up with a competitive plan cause the pigs are starting to chew through it and the CWB cannot give me the price it is worth.
