Red Deer Farm show next week!

Out to Alberta next week for the Red Deer farm show. Its always good to see whats on the market. Were still looking for the anhydrous system that you can put gas down in month of Dec and march if their is not much snow. The group should be at the show were hopping. Also will be fun to poke fun at Seed, Chemical and Fert Companies etc who gouged and continue to gouge farmers and listen to their explanation on why their price has increase. (Production short fall demand Ah crap were just trying to make huge profits). Any one who is going have a great show.

For anyone that wants to meet me in person, I will be at the Alberta Agriculture and Rural Developments Ropin the Web booth on Friday, November 7 in morning and early afternoon (have to be in Brooks that night for Lee's retirement event). Come on over and introduce yourself.

I agree with SK3... go visit the Ag input dealers and let'm have it.

Challenge them, ask them lots of tough questions on pricing, supply availability, fear mongering, etc. What a bunch of useless creeps. I wonder if Mayo Sh(m)it will be there to explain VIAGRAS fertilizer pricing practices.

Also go visit Monsanto and Bayer(INVIGOR CANOLA) and ask them why the keep shorting their product availability every year, just to jack up prices.

Plus, dont forget to visit Cargill-Mosaic and ask the employees at the show, why their company is going to decrease p205 production and inventories levels so that they can "increase" retail pricing to their "customers".

SK3: On behalf of all the farmers who cannot attend this show, please ask these tough questions, and post their responses on this site.

            thanks

Canola seed production was above expectations.
S/F, get all the fert pricing you can before you go to back up what most of us know about this price fixing b/s here in western Canada.
N fert in north west sask still at about .90/lb, nobody blinking yet.

These problems are examples of the open free market manipulating farmers. Just think, how great it will be once the CWB is crushed and we are all thrown into the mix. The cheating and stealing will exceed all expectations. Kill the Crow, crush the co-ops, privatize, special deals for each and every one. People gotta eat. The future of farming is strong, just privatize it and profits will go through the roof. Not for the farmer however, just angribusiness in general!

Burpfart your correct the stealing will continue as it is right now with the CWB in charge. Only problem when farmers can see whats actually happening they can work around it. With the CWB and how it does business you never know how bad your getting screwed you just know its happening every day.
When the industry can control farmers they are in charge when farmers have money they become the ones in charge and the industry has to answer to them. Its a real simple process.

You guys are so negative, if you guys are that upset over what companies are doing and how they are pricing, then stop supporting them. If you don't like Monsanto and Bayer's seed production methods, then don't buy their products.

                      Sweets were not negative.
We had one day of Bonus huge gigantic prices then it started desinagrating. The companies keep telling us its rah rah rah. But the truth is it isn't. Its OK on most farms but bonus year was last year.

Sweets: They all do the same, and when you try grow your own seed, they send out the lawyers. Are you an input retailer?
