I would like to opt out of the Harper dictatorship.

    Where's the bill for that?

Well, I've been told we have to work with the system we have. So, lets not give the people who say we do nothing but bitch and complain the satisfaction of being right this time.
We can either get behind this longshot with everything a citizen has, or we can do nothing and get exactly what we earned and deserve!
Any suggestions other than lighting a fire under our grower orgs. and MPs/MLAs?? Lets Git er done!

Anyone who opts out of the state marketer would
be losing the advantage of CWB premiums over
        the market price, right?
          Also,
<i>"any producer opting to be exempted from the
pool is prohibited from re-entering the pool for a
minimum of two full crop years."</i>

So the CWB should be jumping at the chance to
rid themselves of a few vocal detractors.  These
<i>"farmers for just me"</i> will languish without
CWB premiums for at least 2 years.  What a
public relations coup, pointing out the superior
returns for those remaining with the CWB over
those who will surely be begging to get back in,
but unable to for 2 years!

.... Or the resulting price transparency will instead
reveal the discounts we've been forced to accept
        all along.

The Manitoba Canola Growers are already trying to get the CWB to be the buyers of every-ones canola.
