    I thought the cwb was representing farmers on the rail file.

    Wonder how that conversation went with the government considering the tone the cwb has for the government.

    And don't forget, it is not in the cwb's best interest to get lower freight rates when they supposedly own rail cars. It would make them look bad to the investors (farmers) on the return on their investment and their management skills. The cwb does not lobby to have lower freight rates.

      What about in the 9o"s the cwb was the only ones to take the railways to court.Even the grain co,s never had the guts to do it.

        And what did we get out of that?

        Oh yeah, they now send the overcharged rail money to the wgrf, not back to farmers. Some win that was.
