charliep your strategy is correct, just can't seem to
find anywhere that will buy low protein right now. As
far as I've heard from every local elevator CWB only
shipping 13.5 pro and higher. None to be found out
here. Amazing how the CWB can make things work for
them yet tell me how much they are doing for me.

JBBB......I`m thinking your grain may `change` protein given a `different` market enviornment!!!It will be to your benefit!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same, gotta sell some and will on A. Suppose we are still debating and its still in the courts 2 years from now? That is what sucks about uncertainty in the industry.

FWIW Three reasons why we are signing series A for our farm.

1)Prices are historically high(even by Canadian standards)

              2) Cash flow and risk management *remember 2008*

              3)Storage risk

4)According to Australian friends of mine

Farmers held back grain in hopes of "higher" prices post Monopoly.

When they did try and sell two years crop in one (basis widened, capacity was rationed.

The CWB crowd will say "see we protected you from those big bad grain co's"

It's been 70 years. of dealing with the Monopoly. I wouldn't bet the farm on with holding another years crop.

To sum it up I have every confidence in this Conservative government, to fulfill it's election promise. I have confidence in the courts to uphold the supreme courts ruling that the Feds can instruct the CWB what to do.

Finally I think Ritz will bring in the auditors and protect western farmers from this current crop of directors.
They will watch for funny dealings, golden parachutes, and watch the accounts.

FCC is governed by an appointed BOD and I don't hear a political peep out of them and I would bet most farmers deal with them if the deal is right.
