The Official Opposition will be holding meetings in Regina and Saskatoon to hear from farmers on the CWB issue. Information on the meetings follow.

These meetings are a part of a fact-finding tour occurring in each of the three prairie provinces. The intention of the invitational meeting is to provide invited farmers with an opportunity to discuss issues central to the Canadian Wheat Board and the federal government’s determination to remove the single desk from the CWB.

MEETINGS DETAILS:

TIME: 10:00 AM, WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 9TH
LOCATION: WEST HARVEST INN, REGINA, 425 ALBERT STREET SOUTH

The meeting is expected to conclude at 11:45 AM

and

TIME: 4:30 pm, WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 9TH
LOCATION: TRAVELODGE HOTEL, 106 CIRCLE DRIVE WEST SASKATOON
The meeting is expected to conclude at 6:30 pm

I hope some Stop the CWB farmers get to speak but I doubt it

Doesn't surprise me. They want to here the dogma not the truth.Send an email to them at their parlimentary office and let them know what real farmers think.

Tweet them and the leadership candidates. Let them know that counting the CWB BOD, friends of the CWB, CWB alliance and the NFU doesn't add up as it is the same group of people. If they want to make a dent in Western Canada MP count they need to get with what Real Farmers want.

same thing that the flawed plebiscite did.
Wheat board supporters support the wheat
board... big deal. When this gets trotted
out in Question Period I'm sure there will
be no mention of the 'invite only' aspect.

My mother in law was invited to go "show
support" for the CWB. Her only qualification
is that she lives in Saskatoon and worked to
get a NDP elected to city council.
Her family has been off the farm for 3
generations now.
Another rent a crowd bought for you courtesy

would think they might have learned after
getting their shit handed to them on the 7th.
