MB Oats, I wouldn't have believed it.

112bu/ac after 2/3rds of the acres.

I would not have believed this from the stand... very
short straw, but it filled. Wow.

Highest yield we've ever had.... and these fields
were under a foot of water for a couple days in July.

Finished swathing canola in SK.... going to put yield
around 28 - 34 bu/ac.... Not too bad, but very
lodged. No asters visible from the cab of the
swather, occasional plant when walking into the
    field.

Wheat in MB 42, wheat in SK, don't know yet, but
probably will run a bit better.

What variety of oats? Think your high on the canola yield. Guess we could walk across road and visit but were never home lol. I get to try the soft wheat tonight, lots of wheat coming into viterra now. Feed mill wants some of mine immediately so that will relieve the bin space problem if it was a problem.

Lucky thing you where later in getting the
seed in the ground in Sask. The later
crops look much better than the earlier
ones. Yields are all over the map in the
      area, but generally disappointing.

The ones who are continually a season behind will look like geniuses this year,
that is if they get the crop off in time.

Got into the last field of SWS wheat yesterday.... disappointing... 15 bu/ac.

Yeah, no kidding Hopperbin! Neither of us seems to have time.... should be better after harvest!

What ya figure that canola'll do? I'm curious....

        :P

Yeah, for once, being late paid off this year I think.

under 10 but wondering if were talking of the same field. We tested the soft wheat last night and decided to make adjustments in the morning. Got adjustments done and figured too dangerous to work today.

Under 10? Are you talking about the piece that's canola on canola? Next to the HRS?

I'm talking about the quarter next to Possberg's barley.... Those swaths that are as big as the hole on our 722....

How much did they get blown around out there anyway? Hoping /w it being fresh swathed it hasn't all blown out.
