    Happy Thanks Giving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I bitch all year about the crop,
But Really their is nothing I can do I
    am not God!
I can do my best by planting the seeds,
    fertilizing and spraying nurturing it
all the way till fall, Yet its still up
to a higher power if I prosper at all.
So on this day when we reflect on our
harvest, we give thanks for what we
    have.
It may not be what we hoped for at the
    start.
But were still alive and breathing and
enjoying what we do with family and
friends that makes it all So Great!

Happy Thanks Giving to all On Agriville!

    SF3,

Enjoy it while you can! Happy ThanksGiving!!!

I have heard Dec 2012 is the end!

Sooo... if it was truly the end in Dec 2012... what would each one of us do?

We went as a family and saw Cavalia in Edmonton yesterday... it was a very nice show! Take it in if you have a chance... the horses are truly magnificent.

We are very blessed. Being positive... and having hope, faith, and love for each other is truly what has created this wonderful country we call Canada!

My family and I also have the hope of our forefathers... of salvation and redemption in 'Jesus' now and in the next life. If the world did end in Dec 2012... we will be together on the other side... so fear is not a concern for us!

In marketing this basis foundation helps us be brave. My son tells me in most of the rest of the worlds' societies... one's faith is a very important part of business and decisions.

God Bless Canada and everyone who reads this!

sorry to bring this up but its a sensitive subject over here, but my neighbour finshed his 110th and final harvest before eviction and put an end to it all.

            I see it Hedge:

            http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/farmer-commits-suicide-after-losing-1363405

It is truly a SMALL world with the Internet. Thanks for sharing this with us. As a farmer here in Alberta since 1881... it is truly a part of our family and life that we are thankful for and work to pass along to our next generation... the land is a part of our very beings!

"A FARMER shot himself after losing a long-running legal dispute over land.

Andrew Riddell, 52, was found dead on Tuesday after he had harvested his final crop.

The father of four, who had recently separated from his wife, killed himself just weeks before he was due to leave Peaston Farm, near Ormiston, East Lothian.

Andrew had been involved in a 10-year court battle with his landlord, Scotland’s third richest man Alastair Salvesen.

The transport tycoon, who is worth £1.3billion, bought the farm land in 1998.

He served notice to Andrew after a Court of Session ruling earlier this year enforced a notice for the farmer to quit.

The ruling overturned Mr Riddell’s previous security of tenure award in 2010 that meant he could stay living on the land.

Andrew’s family had been tenants on the farm for 110 years.

His neighbour and close friend George Mudie, 60, said: “The farm was Andrew’s life. He was affected very badly by the court’s decision.”
