Heads up! Dry for next three weeks in South America corn and soy areas!

Email this morning could get dry for the next three
weeks in South America. That's in key corn and
soy areas, hm. Is all I'm saying. Delay planting,
poor crop growth or nothing at all.
    Just a little heads up.

And the Ukraine may be implementing
export bans. Russia can't be too far
behind. I originally said November 1,
looks like the 15th but its going to
    happen.

    Resetting targets for grain.

All states in Brazil on the dry side,
      except one.

Argentina is likely too wet right now.

Ukraine gov't announced no more wheat
exports after Nov 15, but this is not a
      surprise to the trade.

      Quarterly U.S. corporate earnings
      showing some disappointments which may
      rattle the commodity world.

More cracks in Cdn real estate market
      seen.

I am thinking scaling up to 8.75 for wheat short term - 9.25/9.50 for storing til spring. Farmers have to be paid for those shiny grain bins. I least I think so.

Still might wait till November 15 to see if russia bans come into place.

Algeria is in the market early to buy cheaper durum, may be a good play in durum coming up. Don't think 10 bucks is going to happen for durum at present.

If the Ukraine is short wheat, I can't see how they have an abundance of flax for the europeans either. That might gear up in next few weeks as well.

I may also take some 12 buck sept13 canola and trying to get some flax for oct13 done at 13 bucks.

Wheat for next year should be over 8 soon so I may make that work for off the combine delivery.

Interesting note. I put in a target for 8.50 friday morning and it hit before I was finished coffee. It was 40 cents above the bid at the same elevator. Something happening in peas short term.
