What is a high pressure sales pitch???

We are at a critical turning point, with a narrow window of opportunity to permanently improve your farm profitability. Now is the time to get involved in the production of a major crop input to reduce your costs. Please take a few minutes to read this entire letter. I know it will be worth your time

Been involved with high pressure sales persons in the past and this one is right up there. Most high pressure sales have a dissappointing outcome cause you expect so much more for doing nothing. You must sign up now or you will miss out, hmmmm hear that before or do we all forget?

Not meaning to downplay FNA or their efforts are welcome of course. The sales pitch though is downgrading to me as a possible investor.

        It should read..

" ...we are at a critical turning point, with a narrow window of opportunity to permanently improve OUR profitability. Now is the time to get involved in the production of a major crop input to KEEP OUR HANDS IN YOUR POCKETS. Please take the time to read the entire letter.

I know it will be worth OUR time...."

If they want to reduce fertilizer prices, go buy some offshore fertilizer. Then everyone would be interested in buying. Ocean freight is zero and 46 out of the black sea is 350 per tonne. Cut a deal to lease some rail cars and deliver to a siding mid point Saskatchewan. Have the trucks ready.

If FNA wanted to build a plant they should have been on it the last time they thought fertilizer was overpriced.

          Bucket,

DON"T confuse the issue with the facts!

I totally agree. We could link up with other grower co-operative fert buyers... and lower prices. IF FNA wants grower money; they need to first develop a marketing infrastructure... and provide real value. Then there will be plenty of capital funding to build facilities.

I think we can also. I would be more onside if someone company did the research and tried to lure in investors. FNA wants the farmers and a very dissoriented group that knows **** all to spear head this thing. May as well bend over.

In my experience dealing with FNA has been not much of a savings over the market as they say the market has moved to their price. Not so sure about that.
Savings over market have been almost zero so is their threat real?
