Truck hitch large enough to pull implement?

What kind of hitch has anyone used on a semi/tandem/etc to pull a large implement? We're trying to rent a 22' Wishek disc from Flamans and pull it to the farm with a Freightliner. Fort Garry Industries installed a pintle hitch onto the truck which is rated at 70,000 lbs but the hitch of the disc, which is an eye, is too large for the pintle. The service guy at Fort Garry didn't believe me at first when I told him that it was too small. The eye actually got jammed in the hitch and required a crow bar to pry it out. The dealers and manufacturers of airseeders etc must have it figured out.

Wishek, god bless them, over builds everything, clevis
and pintle won't work,if i got this straight in my
head, but 1 ton truck with hide a hitch with solid
metal insert and cleavis with pin going through
hitch, clevis and disk maybe works best?

          SF3,

Weld in a sq reciever into the pintle hitch back plate where needed.

A larger reciever size with a higher weight rating would be best. Then a clevis can be put in when needed.

          Cheers!
