I don't need any stinkin' video to know how to appreciate and love this land. I was born here and loved it long before any great oil deposits were discovered and developed. Agriculture WAS the main industry and avocation at that time and will always be important.

There's still much of the old flora and fauna left in this province but some has slipped away with development and time. A good portion of my land still has some of the old original plants but I miss the meadow larks, prairie chickens (sharptail grouse)and the huge variety of other birds that at one time were everywhere. Nighthawks seem to have disappeared and nobody seems to have noticed.

Lots of chicken here. Canola up against native prairie - they seem to thrive.

Actually its amazing how little nesting area it takes to keep them at a healthy population to take the grills out of my vehicles.

My mother in Regina, put a few heads of
sunflowers on her lawn for the squirrels, but was
surprised one fall day with eleven hungarian
partridges. They kept returning until the heads
        were empty.

Wilagro, you are totally 100% correct,
butt who gives a rats butt. We have an
            economy thats cugging along, greed
            drivin everything. Video games,
            alternate realities. Environment, who
cares about the birds, bees, rivers
lakes, use them, abuse them after all
they have a great flushing action. As
long as everyone else is downstream,
dump the shit in who cares, its their
            problem, our problem solved. Corruption
            in business and gobermonts encourage
this behavior. Getter while yeah kin,
life's short grab whats rightfully yers,
            use it and run.... Disgusting
            behaviur, Heil Harper!!!!

              Burb and Willy,

We live in the best country on this
planet... And a great tribute to the
hard working folks who grow our food...
              Is responded to this way?

I am thankful for All our devoted fellow
farmers that intend to make a better
future for our next generations... Which
Are the vast majority of farmers I meet
and respect. Some of the best practical
              environmental protection for the future
is b being practiced on our farms.

I have never seen so many birds and
wildlife... A true revival of nature in
              so many ways.

30 years ago... The soil was blowing
away... And the future was bleek.

              We are truly blessed!

              Cheers!

Tom: We live roughly 100 miles north of you and our bird populations are way, way down and have been for a number of years.

Perhaps you throw more grain over from your JD combines and the birds stop at your farm every spring to enjoy the feast. Ahahahahahhaha.
