Greed? Nothing wrong with greed, it makes the world go 'round.

Ego, on the other hand, is a tool of the devil. It puts the i in Team ;-)You'll also notice it is hiding in the middle of the "A" hole.

Somebody call the joke police and have them arrest
      Tom for not getting it,lol.

When the khan and his hordes came out of the
steppes and handed the gringos a biblical ass
whooping i'm sure their bards where singing about
      how strong,proud,smart,good looking,hard working
they where over the filthy white monkey...its a big old
      world.

        C.P.

I just hope that the Dems and Obama get it... AND soon. It is not a joke any more.

The Middle East is in Shambles from a governance perspecitive. It only took 4 years to do it. 'Coincidence'? I am told there is never a 'Coincidence'... and I must agree.

I am not saying that Romney will be a Knight riding in on a White horse... just that it would be hard to find a poorer example of leadership than the Dems have now. Need an EG... Keystone.

        Need another one... QE3 infinity.

We seam to be missing two points: One:
Germany needs the other EU countries as
customers, and two, the low value of the
Euro is helping keep the wheels on the
wagon for now. Remember if you are rich
and I am poor then you get to cut the
price of your production. That is a
lesson a lot of bulled up farmers are
going to get over the next year.

My dad was a pow in Germany for 5 yrs and
involved in the run up the road and Baltic cruise in
            coal ships.

He never bared a grudge and has been back to
            Germany a cople of times.

Like someone said its 60 plus years ago move on

While some of us are sipping drinks on a beach this winter....read Ken Folletts Fall of Giants and Winter of the World. Absolutely fantastic books, first about WW1 and second about WW2....gave me a lot of insight as to how Germany/Russia/England/USA participated in the wars and how communism/socialism/capitalism played roles. Pretty easy read and some of you are going to have long flights...lol.

                cp,

There's exceptions to every rule... I
didn't compare all people in Dauphin to
lazy bums... I used two communities as a
                whole as an example.

If MB would take the NDP government, put
it into a burning barrel, fill it with
diesel and light it up, there'd be big
                changes. However, Winnipeg won't do
that... and in Manitoba, only Winnipeg
                counts.

CP, you're right... A lot of people on
                here don't understand... if other
                countries took everything from you,
including your freedoms, your right to
defend yourself... would you be happy?

Hitler promised freedom from all this...
                thus people followed him. The
concentration camps, and all that are
horrible, and that is a dark side of
history... however one must remember the
rest of what Hitler did. Germany in '41
was a completely different country than
                Germany in '25.

We can learn a lot from history, and
                maybe stop repeating it.

hitler spent his way out of recession, and germany was on the point of bankruptcy when it invaded poland.
they needed polish gold to pay the bills.
