Scumbags have been stealing from farmers as long as there have been farmers. It's your turn now take all you can as fast as you can because eventually they will figure your scam out.

What is with the hatred for Weber?

He gives a daily snapshot of the world relating to ag.

Did the CWB ever give a daily report, given all the resources they had? Maybe if they had, farmers would have had some faith in them.

The cwb used the "trust us, we know better than you dumbshit farmers" approach. And then hid behind a secret report that farmers couldn't see ( had to pay for though) about what they did wrong. Yeah, I am still bitter about a 250 million dollar trading loss and no one was fired and no one can read the report on it.

If a trader did this in Toronto it would be on the National every night for a week. And a hundred journalists trying to get to the bottom of the story.

No one makes anyone buy subscriptions to news or marketing letters. If I want to let someone else to compile info into a neat package that is my choice.

Going Backwards 2 is apparently viewed by
some framers as a positive step forwards.
Then again their are some framers who
simply wood like to be kicked in the balls
ever once in a while, and call it a
reality check, positive butt hurts like
            hell. Heil Harper!

When the CWB recieved the marketing report
stats they had contracted, the results proved
exactly opposite of what the CWB hoped to find.
In fact, the report exposed the CWB as marketing
liars. So the CWB buried it. I have the report. It
was sent to me, in confidence, to let farmers
know we were on the right track. I promised
confidentiality, and have stood by it. Farmers paid
for a report they never saw.

Weber sends reports we read, discuss, and if we
don't like tehm, we can choose to unsubscribe.
Nor is he protected by legislation that forces
farmers to subscribe, or pay him to speak.

As an organic farmer, Weber's newsletter is more
valuable, even though it pertains to the
conventional market, than the CWB ever was.
They stole, lied, cheated, deceives, manipulated
and worse, played one farmer against the other.
At least Weber encourages farmers. By providing
                information so they can choose.

Choice trumps force. Stubble. You have yet to
                learn the lesson. Pars

                  farmaholic

Actually you could only make your own marketing decisions in wheat durum and barley for the last few months.

Up until then you were equal to stubble and burbert, which is just the way they liked it!

To your question, wheat is 13 % protein and 87 %
politics. Always has been. Would be nice to have
more discussion of marketing strategies but that
seems to be very intimate to every ones
operation/farm business (just like our sex lives) that
no one to divulge. Agriville has always been a
community where people talk about what on their
minds. Posters decide what is important to be
discussed and the tone of the conversation.

                        Charlie,

This ends up to be personal decisions... especially now.

Some folks liked to have the CWB in charge of half of my families farm... then they could figure out ways to extract income from my family.

Now this 'tool' is gone... and personal responsiblity is key... how we react and our state of mind... will give good indicators of our marketing performance.

                        1. Risk Management; as we are in a 'Volitile' period in history... with a balance of supply and demand... along with low carry over supply... if we sell at the 95-97 percent of historic prices offered...likely it will be good for our farms.

                        2. Speculation is good... but pigs do get slaughtered. Greed and calling everyone a liar and thief... is unlikely to add value to our discussion and the needed wisdom to decide when to sell and to whom. Reflections of past decisions and life experiences...

like WW1-2 history and politics... all add layers of depth/influence to our decisions.

                        3. Perceptions of the future... and discernment of risk and reward... are key to healthy marketing. How each person and organisation weight this portion of the decision is VERY different. Which I believe Agriville does a great job of discussion and grinding through perspectives that help make a complete picture.

Thanks for all your help Charlie! I enjoy the Information Larry Weber gathers and provides. For a stark left wing view... Burbert/Wilagro/Stubble are never far from providing that side!

Have a great day... and drive safe!

                        Cheers!

stubble your a total idiot, arent you? I
pay for different survices, Take the info
                          and make up my mind.
Now in the CWB days they sent out mounds
of Bull shit over and over and over. Then
they would tell us the final will be so
much then a year and a half late we got a
check for below the true market value. So
you and the 7 guys who still use the CWB
                          keep supporting them.
