Mr. PAUL was like Mr. IOCOKA, some good
ideas, some radical Republican stupid
ones. Guys like these though, are able
to show how shallow er phoney that
people like ROMNEY r. Disingenous rich
guys, tryin to be president, er climb
everest, cousin they got the money ta do
it. They could care less aboot the
country, cousin they got there's screw
the little guy. Me i like TRUMPET fer
the next Republican run, he is a total,
rich clown, lovedd by all and has the
qualifications, he could push the nuke
button ifn need beeeee!!!

Deciding to be a soldier does not mean someone is crazy. It is an honorable, and necessary, profession. A strong military is needed to keep ones country safe. Furthermore those who decide to do this job do so voluntarily. It's been a long time since we've had a draft.

While you may think its crazy to put oneself in harms way on behalf of ones country I have nothing but the highest respect for these people who have the courage and fortitude to do a job that many others simply could not.

Whats senseless is sending these people into conflicts that don't serve ones countries interests. Or sending them in without the proper equipment and then giving them orders not to shoot back if someone is shooting at them from a church. Or worse yet telling them to not shoot back at all.

BTW- a well funded, well equipped military is not an example of crony capitalism. Things like the GM bailout and many others are.

Fransico: In many ways I can agree with a lot of what you say.....the respect we should have for the people who believe enough to fight the wars?

I guess my problem is what we have seen in the last several years.

What in the hell are we achieving today in places like the middle east? Saving the world....from what? Are we fighting some kind of convoluted idea like Vietnam......if we don't fight them there, we will be fighting them here?
How much drivel was that?

answers, they want social programs funded
by the rich who need to pay more taxes.

I take offence to Dr.Paul hacks because i understand
the reality of the situation and what is about to
happen.

I am sorry for offending you thru the posting of
that video. But what was missing from his
campaign in order to win was in that video.

Dr Paul represented the iconoclastic white male
but there was no way he could relate to anyone
else. Not even the media. He needed that To get
anywhere in the republican primary. So in the end
more great speeches that are admired and
praised by old white dudes that change nothing.
And that is a shame.
