    The Chinese Coming Here...

    Are doomed to fail....

Have you ever looked around, and watched these
guys? They have no backgrounds in ag... yet they
are going to farm, and then ship their produce back
    to China.... Um... Yeah... Right...

They need to build infrastructure. If farming in
Canada was such a gold mine, we'd all be
    billionaires... hahahaha...

This is prompted by the Chinese fellow I work
with..... or rather worked with, he's fired now.

Has an engineering degree. Can't figure out how to
use a pipe wrench. Doesn't know which way to turn
a nut to tighten it... but has a very big mouth....

Most of these Land investors seem the same way to
me... Give em two years of drought and they will
    run.

Ever hear of Guanxi??? Thinking your buddy just ran out of it. But if his dad still owns the company he should be ok in his lifetime.

      Klause,

The Chinese will not be on the labor side for too
long. They are just doing reconnaissance . They
will own the companys and farms. Most of
continental North America is broke. China is
      shopping for deals.
They have the money, they are going to be
      buying.

Might as well let them come, maybe they will improve on our infrastructure. Canada use to sell them rails, then they bought the plant and moved it to china to make it themselves.

More than likely the chinese will look at some map and discover half the work is done to improving the rail system in Canada.

So populate the country side, re-install the rails and buy rails from china.

Win-win for them. They rebuild our country's infrastructure and population growth because we have the space. And they keep the mother ship busy in the process.

As I have said before, some of our forefathers had no vision.

I thank god everytime I am on lake diefenbaker. That man had vision.

          To clarify diefenbaker's vision.

There would be very few people, potash mines, irrigation districts in southern saskatchewan had that body of water not been built over 40 years ago.

And the fact that not one premier of this province or prime minister of Canada since that time has figured out we need another body of water like that soon, truly pisses me off.

So let the chinese come, between the rail and water, most in this province will think them as geniuses when they start the building or rebuilding process.

In my opinion the growth that China demands inside of 10 years is setting the stage for a big bubble burst.I think them investing in our country would be a best case scenario. When they stumble, look out we're back to the good'ol days in saskatchewan again. I think we could use the rise of another country really soon. (India maybe?)
