Wanted to go but 800 bucks for the flight. Needed a cheap high clearance sprayer. Please say they didn't give them away!

fair value? not if you compare buying something off the lot lately. 120(some) combines in one day, in December, 8 months from being usable. Why would anyone buy from a dealer anymore?

Are there big problems with stuff at that auction or are dealers just randomly picking stuff they want off there lot? I have heard horror stories on SOME stuff bought a those big auctions. Friend of mine bought a 9682 for 30 k a few years ago only to bring it home and find out it need a 40 k trany job.

Alot of the big newer stuff is just roll outs from dealers. JD and case/ih are duking it out now for big deals and dumping the trades into Richies. The older stuff 3-4 years and older is mainly high dealer inventory from the past three years of strong new sales. And yes there is definitely some buyer beware stuff.
Those 9090's sold for $100,000 cheaper than lot prices. It was a good place to buy if you were lookin.

                            Coleville

Richie Bros. have a 2 1/2% buyers fee on items over $2500 up to $950/item.
There is a 10% buyers fee on items under $2500.

                            Why? Because they can!

This buyer fee is a bunch of crap. BUT!! As
uneducated as most of us farmers are, we will
continue to run and support there sales, just in
case we get a hell of a deal. Nobody ever
thought of not going to a Ritchie sale starting in
2013. It is that simple, you go, you agree that a
buyer fee is alright. Make them wealthier at your
                              expense that is your decision.
