    king of Farmland in regina

to Hopperbin, SASKFARMER3, farmaholic and those against me.

all of you should look at the reality and face to it yourself. if you can not handle the Farm business properly, and then should shut up to mind your own.

I'm a sucessful businessman, I have former MLA of Kindersley Mr. Jason Dearbon works for me, and I'm owning bunch of real estate properties in Regina area, and Luxury house for meself.

nothing more than that can prove I'm doing good, and feeling awesome.

this is free market for person to person competition in the fair way.

I'm feeling good, hem..., feeling good ....

    Welcome Andy:

Nothing I am saying is directed at you personally, it is just my opinion and everyone is entitled to have one.

I never was one to begrudge or deny anyone their success. If you are willing to take the risk and succede, good for you, and by the way good luck.

Not everyone starts the race from the starting line, some are on the line, some behind and some ahead of it. What counts is how you finish the race.

Since I do own land and I am not really in the expansion mode, what has happened to land prices lately gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I hope it can maintain these values until I am ready to sell if no one in my family wants to take it over.

Once again Andy welcome and best of luck.

farmaholic - i dont think this is actually "the king". i don't imagine a successful businessman would come on here and speak in the English he did or talk the way he did about things.

      "king of farmland"

"nothing more than that can prove I'm doing good, and feeling awesome"

"I'm feeling good, hem..., feeling good ...."

haha. maybe your sarcasm is to slippery for me to pick up on farmaholic.

this is just someone with too much time on their hands trying to make fun of Mr. Hu. it's actually disgraceful but a little bit funny too

and here I thought you had to be
nominated for farmer of the year.

You did the nominating, voting and
        awarding all in one move.

        Good for you.

The comments must have bothered him for him to respond.

My only sarcasm would be the starting line comment. Otherwise to each their own!!!

                Welcome Andy,

Don't ever worry about what people say on this
site. The benefits of foreign investment, fair trade and
                capitalism are lost by some.

Couple questions for which are non agriculture
                related.

Do you have sense of what China and south east asias
                growth rate is currently?

Is the current escalation of tensions between the sco
and nato a concern or is it a non issue?

I spend a lot of time in the market and like to take in
as much info as possible, especially non mainstream.

                  Welcome!

How do you like it in Canada?

I must say, for your first post, it comes across a bit vane... I.E. "Look at me, I have a lot of land, a big house.
                  I'm rich, so I'm happy".

I have a beautiful Fiance, a good off-farm job, and love our way of life. I'm happy too. Definitely not rich
                  though

(Sorry, just had to say that haha).

There's opportunity here for everyone, just depends if everyone will grab hold of it, and be around for the
                  long term.

Mad rushes and spur-of-the-moment trends don't last (I.E. Vancouver housing).

I'm just curious to see what is going to happen in our area in 4 weeks.... BHP has a few surprises yet!

Andy, on a serious note, do you gauge the cost of your land on productive capacity? Or investment worth?

                  I'm curious

Ya doesn't hurt to have an mla in your pocket does it? Inside track on deals, change legislation to fit your situation, that must really work out swell. So those that think gov is bought off hmmm wonder?

Hey Andy. Can you get Jason to HREF
those links? It's tough to cut and paste
                        on the smartphone.

                        BTW very funny post.

Rider, Jason Dearborn is no longer a mla, Bill Boyd wanted his area back and took it.

Welcome aboard. What I do resent
however is people that are successful
due solely to their connections to
                            government either here or elsewhere.
That is why I support getting rid of
agri stability, for example, as it only
serves to put government dollars in my
competitors pocket which they use to
raise my cost of production. I will
also point out to you that success in
the real estate game today is largely
due to the ridiculous policies of the US
Fed. We have been here before in the
late 70's when investor interest in
farmland was also high. By the mid 80's
many of these high flyers were
foreclosed upon. I would like to see a
return to sound money policy, which
would send most real estate tycoons to
the soup kitchen in a big hurry. Well
best of luck, maybe this time it will be
                            different.

Land prices historically have been related to
productive capacity of the land in the previous 5
                              years.

I guess the definition of productive capacity has
                              been altered significantly. LOL
