Anyone see General Rick Hillier at the Farm Credit Canada Forum?

Hi Everyone,

I took a few minutes today and attended the FCC Forum in London, Ontario - someone said FCC had a similiar forum in Red Deer earlier in the week. Did anyone on Agriville get the chance to hear him and what did you think?

I was glad I went, General Rick Hillier provided an inspirational 70 minute talk about how fortunate we are to live in Canada.

I would not be able to do him justice describing his stories here but encourage you to see him if you get the chance. I think there are a few more FCC Forums coming up.

i went to the forum. a day well spent all speakers were outstanding in their own way.

I for one was proud to be a Canadian after Rick's
presentation was done. A Fresh approach. Our Forces
are known globally as tough common sense folks, and
Rick fits that description.

Rick spoke to us last year at Farmtech he had a
perspective well worth our time to consider.

I have a friend who served under General Hillier in combat in Afganistan and he said he was impressed with the General.
