Are MB land prices still climbing?

It is stoopud farmers driving up the
price. Not willing to say no to
landlords, not willing to let investors
get land before them knowing full well
they will go tits up in the near future.
Trying to farm 18,000 ac by the seat of
their pants instead of farming 9,000
properly. Economies of scale have a
limit in farming. If I were you and you
wanted to expand its would sell that
$3000 stuff and go buy equally
productive stuff just across the border
for $1000.

I just wish that the dumb farmers would get together and not pay the high land prices and tell the investors what we will give them for rent, not the other way around, and then maybe these investment companies will get the idea and stay out of the market. Problem is that there is always a very dumb farmer next in line to put in a higher bid!!
