And if you are OK with the year after
year histrionics (go ahead look it
up),but the guy has pretty much made my
point himself year after year. Its hard
not to poke him a bit. And lord know I
ain't the first nor the last to roll my
eyes at the over the top postings.
      Real simple to say
I have to say I am a little nervous
about the rate this crop is maturing and
the long term forecast has me thinking we
may see some frost before this crop is
      safe.

Nope we get the chicken little act.
That's fine hes a big boy and can post
it like he sees it and is comfortable in
his own skin obviously. But I'm sure he
      appreciates your help:-)
      PS
Really not much at mc'ds I like, don't
eat ,much beef out when you raise great
certified Angus beef that's home raised
an d finished here before butchering and
being hung 28 days a fast food hamburger
can't even come close to a home BBQ,d
      one.
Take care but before you go back to
obsessing over shit you either prepare
your best for or you have no control
over. Consider this consider the words of
the great song Paradise by the dashboard
      light.
You do what you can and let mother
      nature do the rest.

This year may separate the girls and boys. What ever if you want to pay 75 dollars per acre rent go ahead not sure if your into that. We have a serious frost event about to happen cause the crop is just way toooo far behind. I have sprayed dessicant in mid sept before and its useless. Into sept the crops do not advance any more.

Actually our motto has been, "if lentils arent xut
by August 15, forget it, cause they start green
regrowth." except this year it started July 24.
          Gotta love this global warming!

I dont really regard it as a "fight" to succeed.
I just borrow lots of money to keep the farm rolling and then, I use the winter months to stragtegically plan commodity marketing, and cash flow expectations.
There is an excellent instructional video. I am in this video around 0:26.

Saw a funny tee shirt at the Edmonton Folk Festival.

Zombies Eat Brains. You'll be fine.

Nothing to do with anyone here. Just seemed funny at the time and appropriate for some of the beer garden patrons.
