Sept hrs contract 25 percent delivered, five miles to terminal. Only want high protein, I don't have any. Full bins and grain bags everywhere in the peace, I cant see it all ever moving, basis is widening like crazy.

I tend to think You are on to something. The crop
is big no doubt. I have not moved all my contracts
but was very aggressive with sept oct dd
contracts and have delivered at least a third of
total crop already. Basis is very wide and
handling profits will now be significant. We have
priced some more wheat to secure price and
winter movement. The protein thing is an issue
with wheat but we did have some high protein and
have moved that already to capture the protein
premiums as they are large right now. We lock
the bins on any new sales till the basis gets better

I would say same ole same ole. Slow movement
and CN up to its old tricks. No cars no cars then
they show up on the long weekend. Gotta love
unions and double time and a half.
