reckon you guys are 18 months behind austral land peaked in proably early 2011 and has since come back 15 to 20% but has stabalized

and if your wondering why ive added another 1600 acres and my bank manager asked "how much cheaper do you want land to get coupled with low interest rates no brainer" was a eoi 9 put in a bid got notified more money required not from I declined then got notified a few days later I was highest bidder done deal.
$363 per acre a few years ago would have made $480/500

The sale should go in front of the competition bureau? Anyone?

They got the idea from the OTPF . They have been
landbanking in Mb. The fun will start when they
realize they can't make a return from farming and
                have to sell.

Gotta wonder about the management of CPP.
High land proce does not translate to positive
                  ROI.

The Sask Govt has been buying land for the past number of years though Sask Works investments. They have been out bidding farmers for a while now...

                    These things are old news.

Is it governments mandate to outbid farmers?
Paying more than productive value for land is
going to be investigated, I hope.
