    Witness Elwin 17 years ago that spoke about today's problems then and nothing has been done since. NOTHING!

    Except hermanson made a career in the grain industry doing SFA.

    And there are many more like them.

    Sadly I voted for these guys that said they work on behalf of farmers. Bullshit!

      Ditto Liberals and NDP. We have NO political clout in the prairies. The RR have more say in Fed gov than all the shippers out here. Absolutely disgraceful and tragic. Incompetence beyond words! Shame on all MP's for NOT correcting this years ago.

          That is true sumdumguy, but it doesn't excuse the fact that the current mess couldn't have been fixed years ago.

          Every conservative MP knew about the rail problem.

          The more facts that come out about the cwb and their efforts to mitigate damage, doesn't excuse their performance but makes it more understandable as to the way they were forced to deal with it.

          Had the government been paying attention since at least 1997 the RRs would not have the power they have today.
