I had to google Napolean Hill. Very interesting. Thanks.

Although, sometimes I feel more like Napolean Dynamite.

Yes Tom! But I remember that talk in Winnipeg rather than Red Deer. It was 1996 having lunch in the Keg on Garry Street.

I remember lots of good talks on achieving marketing freedom. The only pledges in my life though are two, one being the wedding vows made to my wife 371/2 years ago, and the lemon scented Pledge I dusted the man cave with yesterday.

Tstep, can I ask what you're riding? I had a bike until my mid twenties, mostly dirt bikes. I would really like a stripped down cruiser I could build into a bobber.

Bluefargo, you are very lucky to be able to all get along for generations. No two brothers are the same and not all fathers can tolerate the ways of the younguns. Some fathers never let go of the reigns, some sons or daughters are ok with that, others carry a grudge. It would be interesting to hear others opinions about what has worked and what hasn't in terms of what we call comigling of farming generations. I know of a few wives who tipped the applecart.

Brave I agree with you its tough for generations.
huts can only go on so long as the young don't want out.
I hope every one has a great 2015.

                      Braveheart

Good luck with your custom motorbike. Lots around to fix up although lots of guys like Harleys and Triumphs and tend to be harder to find. Actually a tour though neighbours shops/quansets can be among the best places to find gems.

My own resolution is more time on my motorbike. Not likely to get more than 1,000 kilometres outside Alberta but lots of roads I haven't been on yet. As rockpile and I have talked about, the best way to relax. Take it easy though. Those first few rides when you are rebuilding skills are among the most dangerous. I am taking a motorcycle skill refresher course this spring.

Thanks for that Charlie. Yes, my dream bike would be a Triumph Bonnevile. We had a hired man when I was about 12 that rode one out to our farm every day. It was cool red 650.

There are lots of metrics priced right that would make good bobbers as well.

Here in MB, have to take a rider skills course before I get my licence. Probably a good idea.

I resolute to win parsley's valentines day challenge. Correction best improved. Last year after taking two pills all I got was an all night hard on. Lots of room for improvement here.

I'm riding a 1997 Harley touring bike. Bought it used out of Red Deer in 1999. Don't ride a lot but turned over 80000 km this summer. Usually 4-5000km a summer. I like the longer 2-3 day rides and work 1 of those each summer. The rest are short day rides.

I resolve to relax a bit more... always stressed out about something.

Other than that I have everything I could ever want... loving wife and family ... friends... house... pets...
