Sure that was their Name, at that time in history socialists were looked at favourably. If they had called themselves the Fascist party , they would not have gotten far.

Kinda like our gov't calling bill c18 the "agricultural growth act"
If they had called it "the Corporate Control of Seed Act ". Maybe farmers would have gotten off their ass and Grilled their mp

He WAS supported by Big business many from this side of the pond in fact. And they Profited Greatly.
He started No welfare programs and any Loafers were sent to work camps.Anyone who suggested that they were "progressive" or "leftists" would have been gone to the death camps.
They suppressed trade unions and killed their leader.

I really do believe the U.S. Military Industrialized Complex benefited greatly from the wars. Hence the later entry into WWII only after Pearl Harbor??? Let it live and breathe as long as possible to extract as much out of it as possible. ****ing Immoral Crooks...

It's pretty naive to suggest that the support or lack there of of "big business" implies a right wing or left wing government. Let's be honest here, big business comes to terms with socialist governments all over the world and in some cases I would suggest prefer them.
Never the less Hitler's social and interventionist policies brand him as a socialist.
