1.6" or 42 mm, and three more days to go...rain takes grain/$$$. After drought comes the FLOOD.
"Harvest from Hell", coming to a field near me.

Had around 5 inches, official Estevan weather station showing Sept 4th - 0.6mm; Sept 5th - 122.4mm; data for the 6th not up yet.

Glad we're 85-90% done, cutting low for beans might be kinda hellish with the mud rather than the hard dry ground that was there last week. Probably a couple weeks before they're ready, maybe it'll dry up by then.

As long as the top is firm. Some people needed some rain to replenish the soil.

Good luck to everyone who has a lot to go. At least its not Oct 15/15.

1.7 inches. Creeks running, swaths sitting in water. A few grain bags were not well planned out for flooding. Shows how wet we already were when less than two inches does that.

Don't feel like the lone ranger. East of red deer 1.5 inches so far 20 miles south up to 3 inches. Our area 15 to 20% done. I guess it will help sub soil moisture levels.

Went for walk in stubble field.
                  Just over three inches rain.
Surprised how well it soaked in and lack of runoff.
With average moisture from now on, should be in equal or better position for next spring than past five years.
