Who else is Sick and tired of farm business that think it's farmers who need them vs them needing us

Just off phone with another company that the rep made me feel like just a dumb farmer who has one job you grow it and do a great job we want excellent quality from you and will pay nothing more than we think you deserve and if you won't do all the extra work for a few extra pennies we will find another sucker sorry farmer who will!
It's funny in this country their is no respect for the ones slaving like fools every day to get a good crop off so a pig candle money from us!
Funny these prikes need us because their to darn lazy to do the work them selves!
    Just a frustrated Friday! Agggggggg

Let them know what you have and let them call you when they want it. Simple when your grain is on well monitored aeration and not rotting in bags. Contract zero before harvest.

Both the buyer and seller have two options, take it or leave it...

Well eventually somebody will snap and do the white phosphorous dumped into the pit threat like that guy in france did quite a few years back, and then those crazy spaniards that want independence started rip pin tracks outs with tractors, and the crazy ukranian farmer that went nuts and shot all those people at that grain handling facility, pretty awful when you push an honest man to far,not sure was it french farmers who invented the guillotine and slaughtered the rapists?

I was loading barley last night talking to trucker friend and I realized this farm is nothing special, and even if I fail, it is simply a nicer environment to function in.

Half an answer above. I left conventional farming 10 years ago. None of it after the farmgate made any sense to me. I would drive home from the elevator, or supplier trying to reason through the last conversation and I couldnt "get it" .
I would ask myself, ok, am I that stupid that I dont understand the presentation? Most time it had to do with writing untimely (for mr anyway) bigger cheques and accepting smaller ones.
                  Efficiency efficiency efficiency.
The Broadacre theory. Your losing money on every bushel you produce, next year you rent more land and try to make it up on volume.....

I root-tilled in this heat all day. 29 degrees, need several rum and cokes to cool me off. Maybe that's why SF3 is so grumpy. Hide the guns! The sun will rise in the East tomorrow, I'm pretty sure.

Yes they think they are doing you a "Favor" by offering 10 cent premium on canola or wheat..OR selling seed for the "same over priced" price as last yr..
                        Buy now, shortage tomorrow...

Order your Bourgault stuff 2 yrs ahead..

                        Total B.S.

Old neighbour taught me years ago, it works both ways. You want fair price, deliver fair grain. He pulled into my yard as I was trying to blend in some heated grain. Lesson learned, I ship quality grain and also expect quality back to farm meaning fertilizer seed etc.

Every once in a while my father would mention the four letter "F" word. And it was when he was disgusted with the way he/we as Producers were being treated. The word was "fool" and he hated being treated like one!!!

I don't need and I don't want my ass kissed, but I want respect and will reciprocate when its given.

Sometimes there are "irreconcilable differences" and yes there may be a need for new reps. Personalities......
