That is why I saved my money and did not spray any canola. I saw alot of canola in this area get sprayed too late. Not sure on the decision, was it cause that is when the custom guy could come or just because everyone else was spraying?? Not too sure. Neighbor had his sprayed the other day and I looked at it and there was already 5-7 pods on main stem (must have already been petal drop?). Time will tell.

Alberta guy I wasn't looking at hail insurance. In example farmers are not winning!

With all this rain the farm has gone from "What do we buy next"? to "survival" mode...

Keep the wallets closed...Harvest is going to be a sad time, rather than a fun time...

We were dealing with on Drills and Swathers but just might cancel all deals or delay till next year. Glad I didn't order the 8 15000 bushel hopper bins that really caught my eye. Did buy a 1952 JD A wide front the other day I am the second owner and it runs real nice.

You come on here and piss and Noam about 8 years of floods and shit crops ?? Wtf are you not disclosing here ? Most guys here are not even entertaining the thought of any new machines here period - and we have been somewhat lucky the past 8 years .
Sorry for the dump s/f , but wtf ???
Actually how bad is it ??
*** when we had " not so bad " drought from 2001 to 2003 then the 2004 frost as you did and we could not afford to pay attention, let alone new iron .
                  I smell Alota B/S somewhere

It's just rain gets you down when you seed 10000 and harvest 7000 to 8500 with the rest flooded or gone.

I agree furrow, not to piss SF3 off but not everyone needs to know what your trading off. You consistently complain about the parasites that feed off your farm but yet you are the one feeding them. You seem to feed the chem companies and the dealerships alot but complain about them. You just need to step back and think about what you are saying sometimes. Too much new iron on your farm and vacations for some of us to take you seriously!!! Sorry again, not wanting to offend anyone but holy s**t when some guys could have just lost their farms or close to it with this rain. Come on man!

Nycolishyn had by far the highest prices posted anywhere in western Canada , when I brought it up last year ,after you pissed and moaned about machinery prices you said they are the best . Well call a spade a spade . If it is that tough there is no way on earth you would ever ever be thinking of trading your Fukin lawn mower off . Really guy ???

Try Fukin zero off no matter how many AC you brag about .. Ya reality check , that's exactly what happened to many guys for 3 years straight after spending the whole gamut to put the crop in - then get Fukin shit coverage from crop insurance because your average is basically shot for 3 years
Sorry , cry me a Fukin River .
I brought this up before , there are many areas far far worse off than you will ever be . And not because they are " less " farmers
J/C look at what is going on outside your back yard .

I think SF3, speaks for a lot of people who struggle, even if he personally is not struggling so much. Perception can be kind of a bugger, talking about trades etc., but I try to look past that jargon, and I think he means well. I had kind of a fit one time about him earlier in my agriville career. But I really think he means well and speaks for a lot of folks, even if it not directly affecting him too badly?

I had a neighbor like him once. Big farmer, appeared to be doing well. Stood up for farmers, no matter the size or stature of their farms, even if he was not in the pickle others were.

My theory is he is setting himself up for a run at ag minister someday! lol

I'm pretty sure I've ranted about SF3 on here, I know he's pissed me off reading and I've cursed the keyboard BUT he calls it like he sees it and to wet is way worse than to dry. During a drought you can go to the lake or camping or at least mow the ****ing lawn. Rains for 6 weeks you just sit at the table, drink coffee and wait till its late enough in the day to switch to whiskey. He has thick skin to keep coming back and posting his observations and I for one appreciate them.
If you don't like his comments I'm sure he will refund every penny you paid for them.
