Don't be to eager to price this stuff....

I don't see much in my travels.

Prices will go down. The 60 acres I've saw in my travels looked like a bumper crop. You know what happens to prices when we get bumper crops! LOL

I don't care if there is stuff to be done. A guy has to take a few of these days off.
There's only a handful of them in a year.
'Cept for the guys haying. Giver.

1700 miles camping trip, maybe 4 flax fields...50% lentils in S Sk and Ab. Rest is canola, and barley, lastly wheat mostly Durham. All are good with excellent spots with a poor area tossed in also. Surprisingly most advanced in our area E of #6, N of #16? Latest stuff in Ab. Too bad so many lentils have volunteer canola, looks a mess.

Guaranteed >95% of the yellow in the lentils are wild mustard, with most of that being group 2 resistant.

Just road tripped from Swift Current to Allan. Saw 4 fields of flax the whole way, and all of them were within a 6 mile stretch south of Rosetown.

Most of the lentils look reasonably good at 100 kmh. It's what your not seeing in those heavy canopies that will be a HUGE problem in 7-10 days. The fields with some visible yellow spots will be the least of their worries. One flax field I've seen around here and it's a 45 all day long. #whitemold #sclerotinia #anthracnose #stemphylliumblight #aschocyta #aphids.. Let the good times roll

The yellow in my lentils is narrow leaf hawks beard.

It's scattered throughout a lot of fields around here.

But it should help them stand up.

Then a fall spray with some express should knock them back a bit.

Conditions this year brought three and four flushes of weeds.

Even with well canopied crops and more spray than usual.

G3 was out there with a 12.50 new crop flax bid this past week.

I was too stupid to bite.

But i think flax has upside.
