Dakota Weather Consultants Blog for Aug 24, 2016

    Good Evening,

Taking a look from the Calgary to Winnipeg, the big story is to get this pesky storm system out of the way, one more day and it shall be eastbound, behind it a couple days of tranquil weather before the next one arrives, make sure to visit your 5 day forecast for the latest info for the (Calgary/Winnipeg/Regina) areas.

For the Northern Plains, were looking at a short break in between storm systems, which will bring another round of heat to the area by Thursday, a second front will also bring another round of showers and t-storms to the Plains.

For the Rice Belt of the Lower MS River valley, keeping a close eye on invest 99L, which is now just east of the Windward Islands and has about a 50% chance of becoming a tropical storm in the next 3 days, this feature is heading towards Florida and then possibly into the Gulf, so it will need to be watched closely.

Remember we are now offering Winter Outlooks Services as well, make sure to stop over and see what we have that may help you through the winter from planning and preparing in advance.
